SA-RA Live
December 20, 2008 · Leave a Comment
Last week, me and the Mrs. went to see Sa-Ra @ Dakota. The show was dope, many were in attendance and fun was had. Sa-Ra came with a full band, w/ the most insane horn section featuring Josef Leimberg. They were OUTTA HERE!
Highlights: the first song/jam the crew came out to, where the fellas repeated “The El(oheim) Is Coming”. I hope the guys have this recorded because the music on this one was otherworldly. They had to have stayed on that groove for 10 minutes and I wanted them to extend it out another five! Also, “Can I Get U High” sounded CRAY-ZY live w/ the band. The whole set was fresh, but those two stuck out to me. Otherwise, I’ll let the pictures do the rest of the talking.

Bonus: Here’s two Sa-Ra treats, the first being from a new lp reportedly slated for early 2009 and the second being an obscure archive cut. Enjoy.
